Some years back, you were admitted into Adonai Vine family with only a single objective, to nurture you to become fruit bearers for a better society and the Kingdom of God. Since then, some of you have shown the desire to bear fruits. Bearing fruits demand that you remain in the Vine and also by doing that extra thing that others find it’s difficult to do. When talking about bearing fruits, two types of fruits are common here: you can either bear good fruits which is Christ centred, or bear bad fruits, which is without Christ, all depends on your personal decisions and choices. Remember and be wise-the later will only bring destruction. When you bear good fruits; you attract attention, appreciation, adoration, admiration and emulation. These of course, win souls for the kingdom of God. I also understand this to mean to have joy, happiness, peace and to feel pleased. In Nigeria today, it is not easy to have these in view of the prevailing situation of deaths, poverty, corruption, insecurity and unemployment. However, doing the will of God, and focusing on Him, you will surely overcome.

As you leave Adonai Vine School, you will be faced with a lot of challenges in life. Even as you wait for your result, you may be bored. With all these, it is possible to have pleasures not in worldly things because such pleasures lead to unhappiness even destruction in the end. Ensure that your pleasure, delight and joy are all in the Lord. Even if the world is harsh, you can still remain a fruit bearer. Take note of the following characters in the bible; Job, Esther, Joseph, Dorcas etc. These men and women through lived in a corrupted society, yet beard good fruits worthy of emulsion.

As you go, let this message of our Lord Jesus Christ be the necessary fertilizer that supply you with all the require nutrients for your growth and good fruits bearing for a better society and the Kingdom of God. ‘‘Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the Vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, bears much fruits; for without me you can do nothing’’. John 15:4-5
Remain blessed.
